These are just a few of the many photos we took while in San Cristobal. The town is quaint, charming and full of history. San Cristobal de las Casas is on the Mayan trail that is most frequented by backpackers. It is the Indian heart of Chiapas and the beautiful mountain scenery is unique.

San Cristobal has its own flavor and pace. You see Indians everywhere selling their hand crafted goods. Lots of restaurants. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of hotels to choose from with rates that will not break you.
