The local weather in San Cristobal de Las Casas is typically very pleasant. Due to the surrounding mountains, the air stays very cool. Humidity is low to medium. When you go, be sure to pack for layering. You will need a jacket or windbreaker in the mornings and evenings, then lighter dress as the day goes on.

There can be a fog in the early mornings so if you plan on driving while in San Cristobal de Las Casas, keep in mind that visibility will not be that great when you make an early day of it.

All in all, you will find the climate to be quite refreshing. We loved it when we were there and cannot wait to get back to that gorgeous weather!
